The Oxford University Museum of Natural History
Oksfordzkie Muzeum Historii Naturalnej
The Museum houses the University's collections of zoological, entomological and geological specimens.
The building itself is one of the finest examples of the Victorian Gothic style of architecture.
The Museum's overall mission is to assemble, preserve, and exhibit the University's natural history collections and to promote research, teaching, and public education in the natural sciences based on the Museum's collections.
Among its most famous exhibits are the dinosaurs and the dodo.
Muzeum przechowuje uniwersyteckie kolekcje okazów zoologicznych, entomologicznych i geologicznych.
Należy on do rodziny ptaków jastrzębiowatych, jednak do podrodziny orłanów, a nie orłów.
